In the Indian two-wheeler market, Hero Honda has been one of the best and popular bikes used for daily commuting. After dissolving their partnership, Hero and Honda formed two different companies, Honda and Hero MotoCorp.

The Hero Ignitor is a 125 cc bike that was launched in 2012 and comes in two variants.

The CBF Stunner is an entry-level semi-faired bike from Honda India and is one of the best looking 125 cc bikes in India.

The Ignitor has a digital speedometer, fuel gauge and trip meter, analogue tachometer, a digital clock and low oil and low fuel indications on the console. The Ignitor also comes with halogen head lamps, LED tail/brake lamps and crystal turn signals.

The CBF Stunner has got an analogue dashboard that has a new tachometer. Beneath the split seat, a small compartment is found that can be opened by an all-in-one key which has enough space to fit a helmet.

The CBF Stunner is powered by a 124.7 cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 11 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and the power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain drive. CBF Stunner accelerates from 0-60 kmph in 5.2 seconds. The Stunner manages an economy of 63.9 kmpl in the city and roughly the same economy on the highway. This bike gives a top speed of 110 kmph. The Stunner has a self start system. The Stunner has a tank capacity of 10 l.

The Ignitor is powered by a 124.7 cc engine which is an air cooled, 4- stroke single cylinder unit that generates a power of 11 bhp at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 11 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine gives a mileage of 62 kmpl. The Ignitor takes 6.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph and attains a top speed of 100 kmph. The Ignitor has a kick/electric start system. The Ignitor has a tank capacity of 9 l.

The CBF Stunner possesses alloy wheels and tubeless tyres with 240 mm disc brake doing the duty in the front. The Ignitor has 240 mm petal disc at the front and 130 mm drum or solid disc at the rear.

The Ignitor comes in shades of pearl white, sports red, vibrant blue and panther black. While the Honda CBF Stunner is available in four colours – sports red, pearl sports yellow, candy palm green and black.

Both the bikes have similar weights, the Stunner weighing 128 kg and the Ignitor weighing 129 kg.

The Ignitor is priced from Rs 57,550 to 59,550. The Stunner is priced at Rs 55,969.
